[Sponsored] My Hair Make-over with Naoki Yoshihara by Ash

Hello~

A few weeks ago, I got an invitation from Noriaki-san to be one of the hair models for Naoki Yoshihara by Ash. It's a highly popular Japanese hair salon chain with more than 100 salons around Tokyo and Yokohama areas, and it's finally opening its first salon in Singapore (*≧▽≦)!
バンザイ (/^▽^)/ (/^▽^)/!!

Let's start off with a sneak peek at the interior of the salon.

I like how classic and clean the salon looks (///∇//)

Photos above are taken from their Facebook page

Teiji Ishizawa-san, the head of ASH group's creative team, and his three professional stylists working on my hair.
Feeling so pampered ( ─▽─ )~

Getting ready to dye my hair (~ ̄▽ ̄)~~

( ̄▽ ̄)V
I requested for my hair to be dyed to a dark brown as I prefer to have black or darker colored hair on myself for professional reason and I don't think I am someone who can pull off a lighter hair color. Also, dark hair is easier to maintain hehehe \(//∇//)\ !!

Done with washing~

Ayu-san and May-san preparing to style my hair...

Texting my dear as my hair is getting styled (´∀`)♡.

私はそれが好き o(≧▽≦)o!!
I'm loving the natural brown color !!

And this is the final look~

あなたは私の髪が好きですか ヾ(☆▽☆)??
What do you think?
Liking it as much as I do?
My hair cost SGD$180 before discount (Creative director cut: $100 and Long hair dye: $80).

Took a photo outside the salon with the very beautiful Atsuko-san  (-^〇^-)
Thank you for being so kind and friendly to me, listening to my request and sending me all the lovely photos that you have taken (^▽^)❤.

Many thanks to Kazutaka Iwai-san for the sponsorship, Teiji Ishizawa-san and his trained team of stylists who worked on my hair for hours, and lastly, thank you Noriaki Tsuchiya-san for introducing me
ヾ(@°▽°@)ノ!!

どうもありがとうございました!!

My hair is so much more softer and I am loving it more than before thanks to all of you (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ!!

To celebrate their grand opening, Naoki Yoshihara by Ash is giving a 30% off all hair service between 15 July to 30 September >‿<!!
So, if you want to achieve gorgeous hair done by professional stylists, you will not want to miss this great deal!
Remember to make an appointment at 6333 5662 or simply walk-in to their salon at
  • 177 River Valley Road #02-15/16 Liang Court

Right after my hair make-over, I did a photoshoot with Noriaki-san for his Hana (flower) Girls project and Streetangel, and he gave me this lovely rose, which I chose to model with for the photoshoot, as a gift
 (●´∀`●)

I am so looking forward to view the Hana Girls Project photos(*´▽`*)~!!

Odaiba: Hello Kitty Paradise and Fun!

Hello~

I'm back to continue my post on Odaiba!!

FYI, Odaiba is a popular shopping and entertainment district on a man made island in Tokyo Bay. There's plenty of fun stuffs to do, so be prepared to spend a day there if you planned to visit ^-^!!

We reached Odaiba pretty early and there were hardly anyone on the street, so we decided to stroll around for a bit...

Our first stop is Aqua City!

And right opposite the building...

There's a Statue of Liberty (´∀`)♡!!

You don't have to go all the way to New York to see one hehe!

Once inside Aqua City...
It is a shopping paradise o(≧▽≦)o !

We shopped at Shimamura again for cheap cheap clothes and shoes (ღ˘⌣˘ღ)~!!

Small part of their collections...

I shopped at Axes femme too!
It's my new favorite brand hehe ≧◡≦~!!

Then we toured around Odaiba in their free shuttle bus and came upon...

Hello Kitty's Kawaii Paradise ヾ(@°▽°@)ノ!!
It's located at Palette Town~

Probably because it was still early, there wasn't anyone in the whole Hello Kitty world. It's like we owned the entire place hehehe (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ~!

It's so pretty inside with many fairy hello kitty's decoration!!

There's a huge range of very kawaii hello kitties, my melody and twin stars phone's casing being sold there (*≧▽≦)ノ !

And other dreamy merchandise and plushies (*´▽`*)...

More bags and other hello kitties accessories!

And rows of Hello kitty's UFO catcher machines for you to play too (///∇//)~

For guys, you can sit at one of their lovely resting areas while waiting for your girlfriends to finish admiring the entire place, which will most probably take quite some time because there's simply too much to see
hehe (゜∀゜) ~

There's a beautiful hello kitty's wishing well too~

And next to the wishing well is a small corner where you can write your wishes and hang them up for the Angel Hello kitty to grant them for you o(≧▽≦)o.

After our lovely Hello kitty paradise tour, we continued to explore the rest of Palette Town...

There is a Toyota showroom that shows off all of Toyota's latest models, car accessories and technologies, but sadly, it was closed on the day we visited TT______TT

No test drive for us too ( ̄□ ̄;)

Walking past the Toyota showroom is the entrance to Ferris Wheel!

The Ferris wheel is 115m tall!! すごい (ノ゚0゚)ノ~!!

Considering it's one of the world largest, it offers a view of Odaiba and the Tokyo bay. However, due to the hot weather that day, we decided not to sit it  ._____.
We will probably come ride during our next visit~!!

Next, we went into Leisureland, which is a huge entertainment complex featuring a large range of game arcade, bowling alleys, gacha machines, karaoke, table tennis and other sports games.

There's a haunted house too ⊙﹏⊙!!

You have to open the gate and make your way up yourself ≧△≦ , giving you a much more realistic feel.
As a group of brave Japanese men in their office attire entered, we witnessed the stairs shook vigorously with those eerie noises getting louder at every steps they took (⊙___◎)!!
That was definitely not a welcoming sight and my dear refused to enter the haunted attraction with all his might hehe ( ─ ‿‿ ─) ノ~! Unlike me, he's not a fan of scary experience (●´∀`●)...

So, we decided to opt for the ninja house instead!
We have to press a button at the entrance and a staff will appear out of no where to guide you through on the admission fee (0.0).
That's just so cool \(//∇//)\~!!

The first room of the ninja house is a trap floor full of hiragana words.

We were supposed to link the words into a poem to pass the stage without activating the traps.
Our conversation went...
Noel: "What poem?"
Me: "Don't know..."
Noel: "Then how are we supposed to pass this stage?"
Me: "Kelly said run pass it..."
Noel: "Huh? Really?"
Me: "Ya, if we die, we'll go back and haunt her and my bro..."
Noel: "How does the trap works?"
Me: "I think the ceiling will drop on every wrong words we step..."
Noel: "Serious? How are we going to run pass like that?"
Me: "I'll show you..."

Then I took one big step, hitting the  letter, and got past to the other end with the ceiling just dropping by a little.
Yeah! We didn't die~...
Thank you, Kelly ( ─ ‿‿ ─) ノ
It's good to read blogs.

From here, you can actually see the ceiling that may fall on you if you failed hehe...

After passing the first obstacle, there will be a hidden wall that can be turned (~ ̄▽ ̄)~

After going through it, we traveled through a few passageways that contained various traps and surprises before reaching the inclined room.

The whole room is designed to slant towards one direction and there's no way you can stand upright (>.<). I felt pretty nauseous because of the unnatural angle we were forced to be in.

In the inclined room, there's a stairs positioned against the wall...
Noel: "What's the stairs for?"
Me: "The instruction said it's impossible to climb up..."
But before I could finish my sentence, he already climbed the stairs...

 ...and he reached the top!!
With perfect ease OMG (ノ゚0゚)ノ!!
I was like: "WTH! I thought they said it was impossible to climb to the top?!"
My dear, who was still on top of the stairs, just smirked and replied: "All you need is some brain and a little agility."
Ok, I knew he has achieved a 2nd-Dan Black-belt level, the official instructor qualification level, in Taekwondo, but I didn't know he actually knew the mathematics theory behind climbing those stairs (>.<).
Then I spent the next few minutes listening to his lecture about the Physics behind the room and, at times like that, he can explain with such deep intelligence that it's as though I'm dating the reincarnation of Issac Newton ._____.
He's really can be that smart at times!!
Even though I don't understand most of the things he said, I'm proud to have a boyfriend as intelligent as him
 ( ─ ‿‿ ─)
He taught me so many things and I wish he can give me half his intellect hehe~

So after our adventure in the ninja house, we were exhausted and decided to head back to our hotel to get some rest.

Unpacking some of my loots for that day:

Feminine top and skirt from axes femme (ღ˘⌣˘ღ)

A sweet one-piece dress and shoes from Shimamura (-^〇^-).

Another lovely dress also from Shimamura (゜∀゜)

That's all for today!!
I'll be back to blog about our trip to Tokyo Disneyland, Part 1 (≧∇≦)/~
So, until then, do take care!!

See you again ( ̄▽ ̄)ノ~~,
Ashley

Tsukiji Market

Hello~
Before heading to Japan, we heard plenty of great reviews regarding the sushi in Tsukiji Fish Market. The stories are almost like the Hello Kitty Craze queue in Singapore. But in Japan, when you experience a long queue, be prepared to taste great food. Every morning, Japanese and foreigners from all over the world will start queuing as early as 4:30am just to get a seat in the super popular sushi shop at Tsukiji Fish Market, Sushi Dai. On the side note, the later you arrive, the longer the queue will be.
So my dear and I woke up at 6:30am on a Monday morning for a cab ride to the Tsukiji Fish Market. My dear was thoroughly amazed by the taxi doors being remotely controlled by the drivers. You are not supposed to open or close the cab doors by yourself. Talk about wonderful service 。◕‿◕。 ....
Looking tired from the lack of sleep but I was ready for some great sushi ヾ(☆▽☆) .
So we arrived at Tsukiji Market shortly after and was shocked to find the queue for Sushi Dai had extended until the roadside with people seated along the border dying to enter >____<. But judging by the queue, I didn't think they will make it in for the next two hours or so.

Thus, we decided to opt for Sushi Daiwa, which is operated by the son of Sushi Dai, that has a much shorter queue.

Happy folks waiting behind us (゜∀゜).

We waited for close to an hour before we were given a seat inside the very small sushi bar. The feeling was like an accomplishment unlocked for me as I had never queue for anything  for that long out of pure desire.

We went for omakase at ¥3,900 that includes about 11 pieces of sushi that comes with miso soup and tamago and a final “diner’s choice” piece.

The rolls came first which didn't have the most memorable taste (¬д¬。).

Then there was the ebi sushi, tamago, and my top two favorites: Uni and Otoro sushi ヽ(*≧ω≦)ノ!!
As much as my dear did not agree with me as he's not a sushi lover, I am totally in love with their Uni and Otoro sushi that both melts in my mouth. They are very generous with their uni serving, and I can still clearly remember the sweetness and freshness of how it taste. Truly heaven (ノ゚0゚)ノ~!!
Whatever they are serving come from fishes that were caught on the same day which explains the extreme freshness.

Just by looking at the photos make me hungry for their sushi again (>0<)!!
I hope I will be able to try the father's shop, Sushi Dai, during my next visit to Tokyo, as I heard the sushi served there is of a higher level. It's hard to believe that there is actually better sushi than the ones I ate in Daiwa  ∑(O_O;).

Whether you are a sushi lover or not, you will not want to miss visiting these legendary sushi shops (ノ_ _)ノ.

After our breakfast, we headed to Odaiba, which I will continue on my next post!!
Hello Kitties fans will not want to miss this o(≧▽≦)o!

I'll see you soon (≧∇≦)/,
Ashley
