Selfies + Swimwear Photos in Bali

Hello~

As the title suggests, this post is going to be a mini photo gallery of myself when I was in Bali.

I'm in love with this dress given by my good friend, Denise! Thank you babe (^▽^)❤!!

◕‿◕

This was supposed to be a 'test' shot but my dear thought it turns out looking good.

All swimwear photos were taken by my dear. I really like them  ヽ(*≧ω≦)ノ
How about you?

My dear found a fresh Plumeria flower and helped me to put it on (´∀`)♡...

I look forward to going back to Bali again!

At Bali: The Other Things We Did

Hello~

One of the many things we did in Bali was having massage delivered to our villa everyday. Compared to Singapore's Spas, the cost of massage in Bali is at least 10 times cheaper and the therapists can be way better. After trying the massage service from our villa and Casa delivery spas, I must say that most of the overly expensive spas in Singapore are overrated. Each time I was getting a massage in the comfort of my villa, I felt like I was in heaven! The therapists were not only professionals, they take the art of massage very seriously and are always seen with a big smile despite being paid poorly. From my experience, the people in Bali, in general, are very welcoming and they provide better service than in Singapore. Even if we did not buy anything from their shops, they would still smile brightly and thanks us. This could be one reason why Bali attracts high quantity of  tourists each year.

Besides pampering ourselves with top-notch massages, we did some shopping as well.

One of my OOTD's shot...

...and a selfie while waiting for our driver.

A couple photo with my charming price ♡∀♡!

Then after approximately 20 minutes ride, we arrived at...

Bali Beachwalk!

It's one of Bali's newly opened and biggest shopping mall where you can find many popular brands like Gucci, Armani, Victoria Secret, Tommy Hilfiger and more.

The concept of this eco-friendly mall is very unique and we were able to enjoy the panoramic view of the Kuta Beach when we visited their spacious open-aired area fulfilled with large ponds, garden and running water that allows us to have a closer experience with nature.

Shopping in the mall is definitely more costly than buying items from street shops but their range of varieties did attract us to shop there.

We ended up buying...

Gucci and Hermes Polo shirts for my dad,

a handbag and shirt for my two mums,

....and finally some loots from popular brands like Versace jeans and Burberry for my dear.

After shopping,

We spent some time at the Kuta Beach which is just besides the mall.

Then it's finally dinner time!

We chose a fine dining restaurant near the beach called...

.... Roso Vira.

The ambience was pretty quiet and romantic when dining inside but it would have been a much better experience if they had allowed access to the second floor as we wanted to enjoy the sea-view.

The food was fairly more expensive than some other Bali's restaurants but they were pretty generous with their portion.

This is by far the best duck meat I had ever tasted.
Anyone visiting the restaurant should order one of this....

and...

...their Chilli King Prawns.
They are so flavorful that you won't regret paying 250,000 IDR for them.

I'm going to end the post abruptly with this final dish, which name I couldn't remember because it was a disappointment, as we need to catch our flight back to Singapore.

I'm going to miss this beautiful island so much ╥﹏╥...

First Day in Bali

Hello~

Thanks to my dear, I am now updating my blog in this beautiful island known as Bali. Upon our arrival here, we were picked up by one of the drivers from the Jineng Villa. I had decided to pick this hotel not only because they provide free two-way airport transfers, they also give free drop-off service around Semiyak anytime to their guests.

Once we arrived at the villa, the friendly staffs welcomed us with drinks.

The walkway towards our villa looks truly amazing!!

FYI, this is how it looks like in the night.

It looks very surreal huh? On the side note, I must say that I'm totally in love with my Iphone 6 plus for how it's able to take high quality photos even at night (///∇//)!

Even though our villa room was just a short distance away, we were given a free shuttle to our room.

The first thing we saw as we stepped into our villa was our private pool.

The pool was pretty big and has a depth of 1.5m

The bedroom is generously spacious as well.

Not only is the bathroom as spacious as the bedroom, it comes with a jacuzzi bathtub!

Like other hotels of high quality that we had been to, besides bathrobes, they provide all the necessary toiletries here too.

This is the view when glancing out while lying on the bed.

It looks a lot better when viewed close-up....

....and even more romantic in the night.

Let's not forget the living room which is located next to the pool.

It looks like a pretty comfortable space to be in huh?

That night, we requested for a ride to one of the famous beach club and dinning restaurants in Semiyak.

The Potato head has strict security as the guards will perform security checks on cars and bags before anyone is allowed to enter. We did not make any reservation thus we ended up waiting for nearly half an hour for a place inside. It's recommended that you book a table before going as this place is really popular.

Once inside, we were caught in awe by the amazing scenery that greeted us.

These photos do little justice to show how utterly amazing the place truly is! But still, I will post more photos for those who are interested to know more about this wonderful beach restaurant.

We got to eat and look out into the sea as we dined.

That's what I call 'Romance'!!

The picturesque view from our table made us want to stay there forever.

The foods taste and look as impressive as the scenery but the price is on the higher-end as compared to other restaurants in Bali.

My dear ordered an ice cappuccino while I went for the ice lychee tea and it was by far the best I had drank.

For starters, we had their cheese platter that includes eight different types of cheese imported from around the world (my dear loves cheese  (☆ω☆*)). This was the most expensive dish we ordered which costed approximately SGD$27.

.

My dear's grilled salmon which he claimed was pretty delicious.

My King Prawn was sweetly fresh and flavorful! Anyone should give this a try if they come to Potato Head.

After dinner, we had one of our romantic walks along the white beach...

A panoramic view to remember.

Finally, our first night in Bali ended with....

..... a jacuzzi bath with 'monster' size bubbles (^▽^)❤!!
