My Birthday Celebration with Him

Hello~

How do you like your birthday to be celebrated? For me, I look forward to my birthday ever since I got together with my dear as he always never fails to give me the happiest celebration every year (/^▽^)/!

I consider myself a very lucky girl (⌒▽⌒)!!

So this year, my dear planned a trip to adventurous cove and the sea aquarium!!

The Sentosa water park is a lot smaller than I have expected and overly crowded ≧△≦. The queue for one tube ride took approximately 30 minutes and it lasted not more than a minute. However, I did enjoy my dear pushing me through the adventure river while I sat on a big float hehe~
We didn't manage to take many photos as I had left my Iphone in the locker.

This is the only photo we took together after we were done playing with the rides ヾ(☆▽☆) .

Moving on, my dear brought me over to the hotel that he had booked for my birthday stay over!

It's at the upscale luxury 5-stars hotel, Movenpick Heritage~

Loving this photo taken by my dear at their all-green entrance ('∀'●)♡

The hallway to our room

Going in~
行きましょう ~\(//∇//)\!!

At first glance when we opened the door...
It brought us into an elegant long hallway that lead to the bedroom (//ω//) .

That's my dear who instantly made himself comfortable on the sofa while I did the unpacking >-<"

Our lovely spacious bedroom with a king-size bed~

You can actually view the big and horizontally long washroom from here...
( ─▽─ )

There's even a walk-in wardrobe!!
とても素晴らしい (ノ゚0゚)ノ~
Our big and deep bathtub...

...that we took our bubble bath in ( ◠  ‿  ◠) v

Cute looking dim sum containers...

...used to put small face and hand wash and other toilet utilities.
That's just so creative huh ヾ(´▽`;)ゝ??

My dear's favorite corner~
It's the place where he spent most of his time playing with the coffee maker and showing off how much of a genius he is at coffee making.
So I ended up drinking many cups of sweet coffee that he made for me hehe
(-^〇^-)~

My dear booked the new heritage room that offers the stunning view of the Merlion
美しい o(≧▽≦)o!!

While he was out to get me my surprise birthday cake, I got bored and started to camwhore~

My newly digital perm mermaid-wave hair ◕‿◕。
How do you like it?

My new hair is really easy to set - All I need to do is apply some wave styling foam and I'm ready to go!
Goodbye to my bulky curler and annoying hairspray (*≧▽≦)ノ... I'm so glad I do not have to use you anymore~

Anyway, my dear came back half an hour later with....

My birthday cake from awfully chocolate  (/‾▿‾)/!!
He remembered how I once told him that I would like to try their banana chocolate cake, thus he planned for one to be delivered to our hotel for my birthday!
He's just soooo sweet (´∀`)♡~

However, awfully chocolate service was really bad (#゜皿゜)! They promised to deliver by 4pm but only reached Sentosa at 6pm. Furthermore, the deliveryman ended up at the wrong hotel and lost his way, forcing my dear to wait for him for 30 minutes at the hotel lobby >0<!! It didn't just end there...
The cake cost around $34 and they charged $30 for delivery (How can they turned up late when the delivery was close to the price of the cake?!).
That's a total cost of $64.
So, when my overpriced birthday cake finally arrived at the hotel, my dear gave $65, but was told by the delivery person that he didn't have any change with him!! How can he not bring any spare change when his job was to deliver?! I was so angry when I heard about it, and I would have not paid for the cake if I were there! I'm someone who do not mind giving tips, but I will not give a penny to  anyone who provide such bad service! My close friend was right. The cake wasn't even fabulous. It tasted pretty awful - and according to her, that's how the name Awfully Chocolate came about.
I totally regretted telling my dear that I wanted to try that cake, making him pay for something that's not even worth half the price, and wasting his time waiting.
Awfully Chocolate is officially on my blacklist now!
But despite the frustration for my dear, I am still very happy that he didn't mind going through the hassle to get the birthday cake for me.
He's a real sweetheart (^▽^)❤.

Immediately after, my sweet dear brought me to my next birthday destination: The Sea Aquarium!

Thanks to the very delayed delivery, we only had an hour to spend in there  ≧△≦.

Nevertheless, we managed to complete exploring the entire place within that give time.
Credit to my dear for all the beautiful pictures taken in the Sea aquarium
( ゚з゚)

Pardon my scary face ( ꒪Д꒪)ノ... and focus on the lovely sea view behind me.

Giant Spider Crab!!
It even gave us a cool pose as we took its photo hehe  >‿<~

These are jelly fishes!
とても美しい (≧∇≦)!!
They can appear blue too...
Actually it's just the lighting color that changes ~^-^~

This is another type of jelly fishes...
According to my dear, it's called Cassiopea andromeda.

A beautifully taken photo of a jelly fish ( ・∀・)

みごとね (^-^*)/ ~

More stunning jelly fishes photos!

This is one of my favorite shots taken by my dear!
He's so talented hehe ('∀'●)♡~

This is the world largest viewing panel which gave us the feel of being in the ocean floor.
すごい(ノ゚0゚)ノ!!
Thus, we spent the most time there observing~

My dear took an amazing photo of a giant lobster!!

It look so beautifully yummy hurhur (゜∀゜)~

The Moral eels, which according to my dear, are the most dangerous eels in the ocean 0.0...

...and they love to hide inside the gaps of the ocean rocks and other objects.

More photos of the moral eel~

Overall, it was a pretty good experience although I would love to have seen more sharks and big whales, but I think the best place all sea creatures should be in is still the big blue ocean ^-^.

After our dinner, we went back to our hotel and enjoyed a cup of delicious coffee prepared by my dear Noel...

...as we comfortably watched late night TV together (。•ˇ₃ˇ•。)

Then off to bed I went while my dear finally get to spend some time with his laptop hehe~

As for my birthday gift this year, he got for me a Nitendo 3DS (Pearl Pink) that I have always wanted
 (*˘︶˘*).。.:*♡

Actually, he gave me many months ago so I do not have to wait until my birthday to play my favorite games!
Thank you so much for being so thoughtful dear ♥_♥!

I'm going to end this post with one of my favorite old photos of us

There are many girls who hope for a prince charming as their life partner, and I'm so lucky to have found one.
Thank you so much for all the time, effort, and money spent on making my birthday special and memorable every single year. Thank you for always pampering, giving in to me, taking care, and protecting me...
You never fail to make me feel like a princess
I love you, my prince  ♡^▽^♡.

Loving you,
Ashley

Tokyo Disneyland Part 1

Hello~

I'm back to blog about the magical experience we had in Tokyo Disneyland! If you haven't been there, you definitely should, and if you have been there before, you should go again (/^▽^)/!! Tokyo Disneyland has become my favorite place on earth (´∀`)♡

Please take note of the major photos spammed ahead hehe!

My OFTD~
I got the top from axes femme! So in love with its femininity that I can't stop wearing it out hehe (⌒▽⌒)...

☼ A close up shot for the day

Followed by a couple shot taken while waiting for the train to set off...

The journey there was pretty long, approximately an hour, but it was worth the wait especially when I got a handsome prince to lean on the entire time (~ ̄▽ ̄)~.

After alighting at Maihama station...

We proceeded through the Tokyo Disney resort...

...and saw this (*≧▽≦)ノ!!
I was so excited as we were getting closer to Disneyland!!
バンザイ (-^〇^-)!!

Look at the Disney Hotel and Resort!
Talk about the feel of staying in a fairy tale (●´∀`●)~
How I wish I could spend a night there, but I'm not that rich to afford a fairy tale room  ( ╥・╥).

After we bought our tickets, this was the first thing we saw at the entrance...

So many cute and beautiful mickey mouse balloons (*˘︶˘*).。.:*♡!!
This year, Tokyo Disneyland is celebrating their 30th anniversary, and the theme is the 'Happiness Year'!
It lived up to its name because I felt so happy just by being there ╰(*´︶`*)╯♡!!

Onward to our happiness!!

Welcome to Tokyo Disneyland, a magical place where you can experience an eternal source of joy, laughter, imagination and inspiration (o゚▽゚)
That's its dedication.
You got to go there in order to believe that its almost impossible to ever feel sorrow once you step inside.
If what you see don't make you happy, the surrounding sound definitely will, as the whole Disneyland is filled with the happy melody of Disney musicals.
It seems like there are invisible amplifiers wherever you go  \(//∇//)\

As we entered, we witnessed a row of shops selling different kind of Disney merchandise ( ─▽─ ).

More shops ahead...

Hello Alice in Wonderland (*≧▽≦)ノ!
こんにちは!

Half way through our journey in...

We saw a group of professional musical band marched by!!
They will even wave to anyone who looks at them!
(≧∇≦)/
*wave wave*
Hehe~

More shops nearby~

In order to have the strength to explore Disneyland, we need to fill our stomach with food!!

So, we stopped by this lovely Victorian looking building that sells...

Yummy Disney Hot Dogs and Fries!!
This was the first western food that we ate in Japan that actually tasted good (///∇//)! Those who have been to USA will probably agree with me that Japan doesn't serve the best western food. But maybe because it's Disneyland, that's why they serve good hot dogs hehe~! Still, it will be a lot better if they have chili for the sauce. We can hardly find any western chili sauce in Japan >_<. So, my dear and I have planned to bring our own packets of chili sauce the next time we travel to Japan.

After our lunch, as we walked further away from the restaurant, we saw two ducks resting at an enclosed field. Shortly after, another flew in and joined the pair.

Here's the three little duckies ( ・∀・)~

And this is where the duckies came from....

The amazing Disneyland Castle!!!
Now, don't you wish you were those duckies that lived there (ノTДT)?

Look at how utterly magnificent it actually is!!
すごい(ノ゚0゚)ノ!!
The castle in Tokyo Disneyland is 10 times better than the one we saw in LA Disneyland!

This is the Disney Castle from LA Disneyland...
*Photo was taken by me*

How plain huh ヽ(´Д`ヽ??

Compare that to THIS...
You don't need me to say more to tell which is better...

I don't understand how the Disneyland in USA can lose to the one in Japan
(。-_-。)
Its not just the castle that is better, but the entire Disneyland experience in Tokyo excel the one in LA!
Find the chances to travel to the two Disneylands and you will understand what I meant.

My prince and I in front of the castle... but the beautiful view was blocked by a tramp щ(゜ロ゜щ).

That's better ( ゚з゚) (゚ε゚ )

The serene view from the side of the castle

The hallway into the castle

The wall design at the hallway.
Each picture tells the story of Cinderella.

My Prince Charming posing in front of the beautiful wall (*˘︶˘*).。.:*♡.

The first glimpse when we entered Fairyland!!

This is the first attraction we went for (o゚▽゚) !

As expected, we were put to queue once inside as we waited for the magic door to open~

After waiting for approximately 5-10 minutes...

The door opened!!
It's finally our turn to enter ^O^ ^O^!

It felt like we had stepped into a grand fairy tale palace once we walked out from the door~

The entire place is actually a beautiful walk through of the Cinderella's story

There were some magical and pretty displays relating to Cinderella.

One of the displays featured how her first gown was being made by the little animals and birds...

This one was really cool...
After we glanced at it for around 3 seconds...

It began to sparkle, giving off tiny white mystical dusts, and before we knew it...

It became like this!!
I censored my dear's shocked face upon his request hehe (☆ω☆*)~
He totally did not expect that magic to happen, *lol*

Another beautiful display featuring Cinderella dancing with Prince charming (///∇//).

I love happily ever after >‿<.

As we exit the exhibition hall...

We entered another dazzling room...

...where we can queue to take photo on this magic chair that will light up when we sit on it
すごい o(≧▽≦)o!!

I'm going to end the post with a picture of me and the legendary glass slipper
Do you think my feet can fit into it ◕ ‿◕?
Hehe~!

If you want to read more on our wonderful trip at Tokyo Disneyland, remember to visit my blog again as I will be updating Part 2 soon!!

Until then, do take care (≧∇≦)/,
Ashley
