2014 Birthday Celebration @ Sentosa Resort and Spa

Hello!

I consider my birthday as one of my happiest days throughout the year as my dear will always plan a celebration with me
(＾▽＾)❤.




 So, this year, he brought me back to the Sentosa Resort and Spa for a staycation!

This elegant 5 Star Hotel is one of my favorite staycation destinations in Singapore! Our previous visit was 2 years back which you can find out more about the room layout and dinner services using the link below:

In the meantime, I will be sharing some photos of our recent visit.

 Starting with a couple photo (　ﾟзﾟ) (ﾟεﾟ　)

Then followed by some photos that we took between ourselves as we waited patiently for check-in.

I simply love this shot that my dear took  ( ◠  ‿  ◠) v!!

I'm no match for him when it comes to taking photos for others. He definitely did a better job than I did

(｡-_-｡).

Despite my lack in talent in photography, here are some refreshing photos that I took while we were proceeding to our room.

This is probably the only hotel in Singapore which can make us feel a sense of intimacy with nature yet luxuriously so.

Besides the pool area, we seldom meet other hotel guests while taking a stroll around as the whole resort is very spacious. Because of the quiet and serene atmosphere, we often feel like we were having our holiday somewhere far from Singapore.

The pool is probably one of the most crowded hotspots in the resort during the weekend afternoon. It might not look impressive when captured on photo, but the pool size is massive with more than 2.5 metre-deep in depth.

The best part about the pool is that it is heated to a comfortably warm temperature which save all of us the discomfort of enduring chills as we enter the water (///∇//).

Right after our swim, we indulged in a cozy bubble bath.

How can you resist not taking a dip in one of this man-made pleasure (☆ω☆*）?

It didn't take too long for my little surprise to arrive....

My birthday cake which my dear had arranged with the hotel to get it delivered for me (´∀｀)♡! In all fairness, it's the most delicious cake that we had tasted so far in reference to our other staycation experiences.

The complimentary breakfast that we had the following day was equally delightful.

The hotel served their breakfast in buffet.

It features a wide variety and range to fit the needs of hotel guests from around the world.

I have listed some of the choices below~

 DIY cereals

Healthy yoghurt with different flavors

Fresh fruits

More fresh fruits...

Freshly baked gourmet breads

Local roti prata

Pancakes and Bacon with beans

Dim Sum~

Hot porridge and Japanese pearl rice with miso soup

Lastly, delicious omelettes that is prepared on the spot by a chef upon request

My dear laughed at the weird combination while he settled for a more classic American breakfast choice of food ヽ(´Д｀ヽ. 

To top it up, we got to enjoy such an amazing view throughout our breakfast (/^▽^)/.

The other signature sight of the hotel is...

Peacocks  ヽ(*≧ω≦)ﾉ~

You can find these regal birds at almost every corner and it isn't surprising to see them gathering around you as you have your breakfast. The waitresses and staffs would try to chase them away due to their tendency to steal food from your table if you were to leave your unfinished food unattended.
Despite this, it was still nice to have them around us as we ate since they are such rare and beautiful creatures of nature ◕‿◕.

I loved taking photos of them, and they always seem tame enough to come near us or pose for my camera (⌒▽⌒).

Going on a staycation at the Sentosa Resort and Spa with my dear really does make me feel loved with a dose of relaxation. I can't thanks him enough for always spoiling me with different staycations and extravagant gifts for my birthdays.






As for this year, my birthday present from him was...

A classy designer glasses from Kate Spade ヾ(☆▽☆)!

I always wanted a new pair of glasses as my former one was pretty worn out. However, I didn't think it was necessary to purchase one since I don't usually wear glasses when I'm out or at work. My dear, on the other hand, was really thoughtful and generous to get me this lavish glasses made using one of the finest lenses for my birthday.

Now, I get to achieve better vision with style ＼（＠￣∇￣＠）／~!







Then again, there's no better gifts in the world that would make me happier than to have him around me. I consider his existence alone the greatest joy given to me and that's how I'm blessed with much more happy birthdays ahead in our future (＾▽＾)❤.
